Back to the vineyard
I was heading to the coast last week and had to stop at High and Over along the way. Not only were the paraglider’s out on the thermals, there was a lot of action above the flourishing vines at Rathfinny. Two months ago these cops were vivid greens with a touch of blue, the summer’s sun has been hard at work creating this beautiful contrast of colours, lines and now harvesting action.
Across the road, paraglider’s played over the meandering Cuckmere River, twisting and turning with a view of the sea, Alfriston village and the salt-marshland.
At the Coast so much fun was being had. It was low tide and whole families where using splash point as a jumping platform. The pebbles were filled with people out enjoying the sunshine and the refreshing cool sea. It was a tad daunting wading into the water with my camera slung over my shoulder, but I thought it would make a great vantage point of those jumping.
