Born to be Wild
The joys of two boys are many, they play together, fight together and shout competitively at the top of their lungs. It's great that they have someone to tumble from the sofa with, kick, shove and bite for a parental reaction.
They climb on every surface offered or not and throw belongings around the living room, bedroom and bathroom, out the window, down the stairs. They run barefoot most days, sinking their little toes into the earth. I struggle to catch them somedays as they run upstairs and hide among the blankets. Red hair growing alongside their confidence.
They jump and spin, roll over and over and smile with joy as they kiss you and tell you they love you. They bring offerings, food, toys and occasional bogies. Filled with relentless energy they leave you worn out every single day and then when they finally go to sleep you watch videos of them enjoying themselves.
